Philadelphia Flyers

Our group decided to go with the Philadelphia Flyers organization, they are organization in the National Hockey League.  The organization was started in Philadelphia in 1967, when the NHL expanded their league. All of us in the group are huge sports fans we might not all agree on the same teams we root for but all of us respect the Flyers organization.  The goal for this organization is to win the Stanhley Cup every season, for those who are not familiar with hockey, the Stanhley Cup is the highest achievement in the league. It takes a great organization to win one with the roller coaster seasons they go through, it is just like winning the super bowl or any other championships in any other sports.
Last Season the Flyers lost in the Stanhley Cup finals, they were two wins away from winning there second ever Stanhley Cup. Around the National Hockey League the Flyers are known as one of the classiest Organizations around. They do a lot for the City of Philadelphia, The Flyers are a part of many different charities and help out with many different organizations in the city. Different Auctions take place through out the year, Flyer Fight for Wives Carnival, and the SPCA are just a few of the organizations that the Flyers help contribute too.

The Flyers do very well economically as well, they are in the top 10 every year in attendance. Also around hockey season they are one the highest in the NHL in merchandise sales.  Flyers always tries to put the best talent on the ice to please there fans, I personally am not a big hockey fan, when researching about this organization I only found postive things to say about it.
